  • Two Writers. One Mission.

    Heidi Seamon &
    Sue Ann Grann

    A note from the authors:
Through the years, we have both suffered the loss of some of the most important and influential people in our lives. We learned a lot about ourselves and others in the process & we have both been drawn to others going through similar experiences, constantly gravitating towards them, wanting to help….

As Wellness Advocates, we have been entrusted with the special honor & responsibility of helping many of our customers, not only in their health journeys but during some of their most painful moments during their experience of loss.

    No Time Like the Present…
We have partnered together to create a movement of healing during a time when the collective world is hurting. We don’t need to “go it alone” in our grief.

The truth is, we have all gone through a level of grieving these last couple years. None of us is immune to the profound sense of loss the world has experienced. But can’t we all glean a bit of good from it too?

    Eric Larsen, Master Distributor, doTERRA

“When I started reading Facing the Waves, both my parents had just passed a few weeks earlier and I was out of sorts. Sue Ann’s chapter on the Loss of an Aging Parent helped me to grieve on my own terms and rather than “just get over it” quickly. She challenged me to look to the legacy and special memories my parents left me as a way to move forward. There are still difficult days but I feel more empowered to deal with them. I loved the exercises, the oil recommendations and the personal stories. What a timely read for me.”

Missy Larsen, VP of Philanthropy, doTERRA

“Facing the waves is the perfect name for such an inspired book about one of life's certainties. I wish I would have had this beautiful resource when I first experienced grief. I am certain I will return to it throughout life.”
